Sister Atchley's LDS Mission: November 2015

This will be the place where I post information about Sister (Madeleine) Atchley's LDS mission. She was set apart yesterday (11/29/15) by President Vore and is hanging out with dad all day today (11/30/15). She officially leaves tomorrow for her flight to Utah where she might freeze to death. If she survives that she will be bound for sunny southern California. She has promised me that she will email me every week with a message about the spiritual things happening on her mission. I will post those things here if you want to follow her journey as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I may post my thoughts from time to time as well. I pray for many blessings for Madeleine as she sets off to do the lords work. What is the lords work you ask? She found this scripture from the Pearl of Great Price Moses 1:39. For behold, this is my work‍ and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality‍ and eternal life‍ of man.

6/6/2016 Mosiah 4. Pay close attention to what King Benjamin is trying to tell us in the last two verses. Also Mosiah 5:1 "So anyway does that make sense?" after like 3 chapters of intense throw down.
6/13/2016 No reading assignment but a challenge instead. Pray only for other people this week. I'm doing it and it's actually amazing. Also it's made me realize a lot about how much I ask Heavenly Father for.
6/20/2016 2Peter chapter 3. Notice what he says about Paul in verses 15-16.
6/27/2016 Alma 3. Look for when Mormon takes the opportunity to teach us gospel principles.
7/5/2016 Alma 5 in Elder Holland's voice and learn like 5 things you need to repent of. It works every time.
7/11/2016 Alma 12. If you've received your endowments, consider the temple as you're reading. If you have not, learn about the plan of salvation anyway because it's good.

8/8/2016 Rather than a reading assignment this week: Set some time aside to say a prayer. Pray until you clearly feel the spirit, however long that takes. After you're feeling the spirit pray as it directs.
